Founded in 2003 by Utthan, Samarthan Mahila Sangathan is a member-based organization based in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Our mission is to advance women's entitlements, dignity, and justice within our community. To achieve this, we initiated savings and credit program with low-interest rates, providing vital financial support to women.

In November 2022, to further our mission, we established Samarthan Mahila Bachat ane Dhiran Sahakari Mandali Ltd. as a formal financial institution. Our offerings now include microfinance and entrepreneurial support, empowering rural women to take charge of their economic futures.

Today, we proudly manage financial assets exceeding INR 50 lakhs, reflecting our robust operational systems and the unwavering dedication of our local women's team. With the continued support of Utthan, we are steadfast in our commitment to promoting the financial independence and social equity of women in our region.
